Tathra Surfboat Crew

Early morning surfboat training at Tathra Beach on the Sapphire Coast

At 7.30 Sunday morning, the Tathra Surf Club surfboat crew turns out for training.

The bow lifted high, traveling over the first vave of a good sea.

With four powerful oarsmen and the sweep to steer, they were soon beyond the breakers and heading to sea for an extended training session.

G'day to John and Leon. Looked like a great trip on a fine morning.

Nicky photographing the landscape

Photography Trip with New Mate

A new mate accompanied me on my most recent photography trip

On my most recent landscape photography trip I was accompanied by my new photography mate, my grandson, Nicky.

He's shown himself to be quite creative in other visual arts and I was not dissapointed after handing him my second best digital camera.

Nicky did quite well, photographing a gnarled old snowgum on the grazing property near his home.
