Point Hicks Lighthouse

Digital images of Australia's tallest lighthouse, captured on a wilderness photography trip to Thurra River in Croajingalong national park, Eastern Victoria.

Built in 1887-88 and first lit in May 1890, Point Hicks lighthouse stands 37 meters in hight and is mainland Australia's tallest lighthouse.

The light source of Point Hicks lighthouse is elevated 56 meters above sea level and has a range of 10 nautical miles.
