Bean Shoots and Cashews
Well, I felt like a little snack between blog entries, just before.
Looking in the fridge I spied a pack of bean shoots. Crunchy Combo Sprouts, they’re called. The all-natural nutritious addition to salads, sandwiches and soups. Ingredients are pea, mung bean and lentil.
So tipping a fair helping into a breakfast bowl I added salt for savoring.
Ah, what next? On top of the kitchen cupboard was a jar of cashews. A good helping of cashews, a stir with a teaspoon and there was my snack.
Tasted pretty good, filled a gap and healthy, too. A recipe to be remembered!
