Almost 18 Months

Another month of milestones.  Some of you may have heard that Brock is walking.  Crawling is still his preferred mode of transport but he’s quite confident when he does decide to walk.  Zac is also walking a little bit and is gaining in confidence each day. 

We’ve had a pretty busy few weeks.  One of the families from our mums group is returning to the UK.  We had a bbq at our place to farewell them.  It was nice to have all the kids playing together and for all the dads to meet again.   Here’s a couple of photos of the boys from then.

Here’s a couple more of them on the same play equipment, except now they have learnt to climb the ladder, or the slippery dip. I can see a few falls coming off this one. 

I also took a bit of a drive up near town to meet up with some people I have chatted to on the internet.  It was a bit of a dud cos I think they all knew each other already but the boys had a great time playing in the park there.  This is where they learnt to climb ladders. 

An update on the weights.  Mind you, this is from last month and I will be trying to get down to the health centre to weigh them next week for 18 months.  Brock is 8.87kg (19lb 8 oz) and Zac is 8.41kg (18lb 8oz) and they are both measuring 74.5cm long. 

Poppy Kevin’s chairs and table are being used. The chairs are still kept out of the loungeroom but do come back in for morning and afternoon tea.  The table is being used as another walking accessory and has been the cause of a few small holes in the wall.
