Christmas with the McTomes in 2010

The boys are now at an age where they understand about presents, and “mine”.  They do still get quite overwhelmed with everything so we tried to spread the present opening out a little bit. 

There were some last minute things that Grandad needed to do before Christmas Day so the boys were very keen to help with all that. 

This year we had Christmas Day with my family in Bega.  We drove down on Christmas Eve and the boys were very excited to see Grandma and Grandad again.  Unfortunately they were also very excited to open presents and woke up quite early on Christmas morning.  The rest of the family descended on mum and dad’s for a wonderful family Christmas lunch. 

We then continued the McArthur family tradition of going camping to Araganu on Boxing Day.  And the tradition also continued to the rain.  The Annie Lennox lyrics we were listening to were quite prosaic. 

Anyway, that was our Christmas.  Thank you again to everybody for spoiling our boys rotten.   It’s their birthday in a few weeks and they are already geting very excited about a cake and everyboy coming to visit.
