December/January 09 – Brock and Zac update

Well, it has been a busy couple of months. 

The boys were spoilt rotten for Christmas, thank you to everybody that gave and sent presents.  As you can see from the earlier photos they had quite a horde. 

Both Brock and Zac are now crawling and both are pulling themselves up to there knees.  I’m not sure what they are weighing at the moment but have a check up with the Child Health Nurse on Monday. 

My mum came to visit for the boys first Christmas which was really lovely.  Here is a photo of Grandma having a twin cuddle.  This is getting rarer because as they are getting bigger it is getting harder to do.

On the Sunday after Christmas Day we took a family drive up to York (about 2 hours drive away) to visit my Pa (grandfather on dad’s side) and his wife Annette.  They have just moved over here (in November) and we thought it would be nice for them to see the boys.  Brock and Zac slept on the way up but Zac didn’t on the way home so it was a bit of a long drive home.  I think Pa enjoyed seeing them and we hope to go back again.  Here is a photo of Pa with each of the boys. 

We’ve also moved the boys from bathing in the baby bath on the kitchen bench to in the laundry tub in there bath seats.  And with the hot weather we have on occasion bathed them outside in their inflatable pool (photos further below).

I have included a heap of photos of the boys with some of there Christmas presents.  As they got so many some of them haven’t come out to be played with as yet but they will. 

Not sure if you can see it clearly in the photo of Zac up there, but we’re obviously not feeding him enough cos he’s resorted to stealing Molli’s dog biscuits.  hehe. And doesn’t Brock just have the most gorgeous smile!
