February update
Hi everyone
Finally another update. Yeah, I know, it’s been ages, but I have been rather busy.
We’ve started swimming lessons with the boys. Here’s a couple of photos of them in there swimmers and some others taken by one of the other mums at the pool.
As the boys love being in the water but haven’t really taken to going under water I take them down to the pool (with Auntie Leonie) during the week to have some fun in the pool time. Swimming seems to tire them out and after we went the first time they had there lunch and then went to bed. Brock woke up after only an hour, which I wasn’t overly happy with but got him up thinking that was it for him. Anyway, I put him down on the blanket in his sleeping bag and he went back to sleep for another hour or so. Have a look at him here, he’s soooo cute. Mind you he hasn’t done it again.
We’ve had a few other little outings during the past month. I met up with one of the mum’s from my mum’s group for a coffee down the foreshore and took these couple of photos.
I also took these couple when we were out and about and the boys had there first experience in the shopping trolley. They seemed to enjoy it.
We’ve also had to increase the child proofing in the house. We had a couple of storage containers across the doorway into the kitchen until both boys realised they could stand up against them. We then put another one of top but that made it incredibly difficult for us to get through and in leaving a gap Brock was still able to get himself up and onto the container and amost climb over into the kitchen. Enough was enough so now there are gates on the kitchen, our bedroom and the lounge through to the front door.
The boys get very excited of an afternoon though when they hear Dad’s car come into the garage and stand up at the gate to meet him.
Anyway that’s about it. We’re moving along with the feeding thing and the boys are starting to feed themselves. Have a look at this photo of them after feeding themselves from a bowl for the first time.
Oh, and we finally unpacked the boys table and chairs that Dale’s dad made for the boys. They enjoy playing with the chairs and standing up at the table.
Ciao for now.
Hope you all enoy.
