House Update – 2 Apr 08
The house is going along really well. The roofing timber has been put up and all the stuff that goes around to make the eaves and the ceiling in the garage has been put in. Dale has been driving past each day but I haven’t been up as often. Every time I go up I am surprised by how far along it has come along.
Dale had a meeting with the site manager on Monday 31 Mar and the plan is still to have it finished by June, although it might be end of June due to some delays. Fingers crossed cos we are both so looking forward to moving in and setting up our own home again. The rental has become a bit of a pseudo storage facility as we are storing our recent ebay purchases down here (the lounges and the dining table etc). As the rental is quite small it is getting a bit crowded.
Here are some photos of where the house is up to at the moment. Fingers crossed the electrician and the plumber will be coming through this week and next week and then the colourbond roof will go on. Once the roof is on it will be all systems go, hopefully. Well, at least if there is any rain it won’t stop the work which will be great.
