Heading off on a great motorbike, camping and photography adventure to Lake Eucumbene in the Snowy Mountains, New South Wales.
Towing the trailer with our camping gear, Nicky and I set off for Seven Gates Hut, a ride of a couple of hours over tracks, some of which have been submerged beneath the icy waters of Lake Eucumbene for forty years or more.
Seven Gates Hut is the best remaining structure of a former Monaro sheep station taken over by the Snowy Scheme when the valley was flooded for the construction of Lake Eucumbene.
