Approximately 3 years ago it was interesting to travel back in time and memories with a visit to Arcoona Station and meet the owners of the moment. They showed us the correspondence and specifications I had typed and that my husband and fellow builders used to build the shearing shed and also the shearers accommodation in the 1950's.
We both worked with Bowas Constructions Pty Ltd in Dulwich Hill NSW. This firm built homesheads, utility sheds, shearing sheds and shearer quarters for properties on the land.
