Outback

We camped a couple of nights at White Cliffs and did some of the obligatory tourist things that one does in White Cliffs, New South Wales (NSW). Returning from one of our walks, we stumbled upon this bearded dragon with the scientific name Pogona vitticeps.

In order to photograph this lizard, I pointed the camera in about the right direction, close to the ground, allowing it to auto focus and auto expose. Out of half a dozen images I got a couple of suitable compositions, giving the feel of this small reptile living in the arid region of outback New South Wales, Australia.
