Wilderness Outback Australia Landscape Photography

Leaving the ute at Frying Pan, the ride to the vicinity of Seven Gates Road, between Cooma and Adaminaby was hard but enjoyable with the rising of the lake due to the melting snow on the Snowy Mountains.

Close scrutiny of the image shows the snow on the high peaks of the Snowy Mountains to the left of centre while a glance at the right side shows the advancing snow scud, coming down from the high country and sweeping across Old Adaminaby , over Lake Eucumbene and toward us.

It was time to be done with enjoying the scenery, fire up the bikes and head for home, outrunning the storm.
