Aragunnu – Sunrise over the Ocean
Well, I’ve been camping at Aragunnu with some of the family for a few days.

Aragunnu is in the Mimosa Rocks National Park in southern New South Wales (NSW), Australia.
Mimosa Rocks is mostly a coastal national park, extending a few kilometres inland in a few spots, but hugging the coast from Mogareeka, a little north of Tathra, about half way to Bermagui in the north.
Aragunnu Bay is, of course, right on the coast, with a sandy beach and a couple of rocky bays with excellent, sheltered diving.
We camped in the bush on the ridge, a few hundred metres one way to the sandy beach and a similar distance the other way to the rocky bays.

The sun has risen over Aragunnu beach. Flare from the sun's rays streams into the image adding to the composition.
The boys did some diving and fishing, we all had a few swims and I took some photos.
As always at Aragunnu, the sun rose out to sea in the east, square on the southern end of the beach. This was one of my landscape photography spots.
