Camp at Lake Richardson

Well, I’ve got reasonably well set up overlooking Lake Richardson on Arcoona station in outback South Australia. I put a flag on the external antanna pole in the hope it might make my camp easier to find from a distance, but the wind was moving the pole around quite a bit so I removed the flag. I have the GPS so won’t lose my camp.

My camp at Lake Richardson. Tarp over the ute to sleep in.

External antenna for the wireless modem gives me five bars of Next G signal.

During the night the wind dropped and there were a few drops of rain, awaking me. I was sure glad of a reasonable cover over the ute, though I don’t know how it would go if it came in to really rain. Anyway, it amounted to nothing, though it was enough to get me out of bed to cover the bike.
