Painting the camping boxes ready for desert travel
A pleasent, sunny, winter afternoon here in Bega. The camping boxes are finished apart fron a coat of paint.

Painting the ATV camping boxes Roxby red.
Mind you, it’s hardly the best colour in the event that someone has to come looking for a lost outback photographer. At Roxby Downs they call this colour Roxby red. It’s the colour they paint the machines so they don’t show the dirt so much. Bright green would have been a better choice.
Ah, well! The price was right. On the bargin table outside the paint shop.
Now, if you look closely you’ll see the cut-outs in the bottom of the upturned box. They’re to locate the boxes on top of the ATV trailer and prevent them from slipping off sideways. A couple of good, tight ropes will hold them down.
Suppose it rains to the point that travel is prevented. Nothing else for it but to put the tent up above flood level with the tarp over it and sit it out. The boxes could be placed end on end in the tent for a dry bed, up out of the water and mud.
