Emergency Tools for Outback Australia Trip

We’re leaving in a week for our outback adventure trip. That is, my grandson Nicky will accompany me this time on his Suzuki JR80.

New tyre pump

The old pump was past it's useby date. A new one will inflate the ute tyres satisfactorily should we have to deflate them to get out of loose sand.

With good preparation, the things that may go wrong are kept to a minimum. A few new tools will give us good security.

A new tyre pump has made a difference already as I’ve got the tyre pressures correct and I can rely on it in the outback.

New tyre leavers and a spare back tyre

Nicky's Suzuki JR80 bike has a new back tyre. We'll take the old one, just in case. Some areas that we'll be traveling are frightfully rocky.

And a new pair of tyre levers will be far better than a couple of screwdrivers, should Nicky have a puncture.
