Monochrome images of Thurra Dunes – Croajingolong National Park

Found these negatives from a trip to Thurra Dunes in Croajingolong National Park which is a coastal national park located in the East Gippsland area of Victoria, Australia.

So since I had the scanner fired up I scanned them and enhanced them a little in the GIMP.

Taken maybe five years ago using the Seagull 6 x 6 medium format twin lens reflex camera with a red filter, I’ve never printed these images or published them on the web.

This dune at Thurra runs about half a kilometre.

Well, I am glad you found them, Laurie.

They are a terrific lesson in leading lines and the tonal range.

    Thanks for sharing them.

    Regards,
    Chris.

Thanks Michael. Glad to hear from you.

A great place to photograph, too. Hoping to get down there again as winter approaches.
