Night Driving – Euston, Morgan, Crystal Brook
Set up the camera on the dash of the ute and pressed the button at what I hoped would be the right time.
The Sturt Highway runs west through NSW and South Australia from the Hume Highway in the east to Euston in the west, where it heads south west to Adelaide. Now, I don’t want to do a detour through the capital city of South Australia, I want to keep heading west. So I cut across on some good country roads and pick up the Stuart Highway beyond Crystal Brook, which starts in Adelaide and goes east, then north right across the country, commorating my hero explorer, John McDouall Stuart and his crossing of the continent in 1862.
It’s in the contry road section of my trip that I got these rather different images.
