Outback Photography Trip – ATV Trailer

Well, the rebuild of the ATV trailer is coming along nicely. Here’s the trailer with a practice load.

Well on the way to comletion, the rebuilt ATV trailer with a sample load. Still room for some comforts such as chairs for Nicky and I.

The welding is a bit rough and the design isn’t waterproof or dust proof, but the new trailer will carry the survival necessities for Nicky and I on our April 2010 photography adventure trip in outback South Australia.

The box carries the tent, sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows, change of clothes and all those things that need a bit of looking after. We should be able to tarp this box down to keep it dry and a bit more dust resistant.

The box also makes a great table for cooking and eating, given that it’s the best we’ll have.

Hoping to have a trial camping trip with Nicky over the school holidays, in a few weeks.
