Pink Rose – Littleton Gardens – Bega

Pink rose in the garden
Pink rose in Littleton Gardens.

Littleton Gardens in Bega. A small pink rose, delicate, petite, transient.

This year the roses have done well, no doubt the result of the drought with appropriate watering and ample application of blood and bone fertilizer.

Fulfilling their retirement dream, Marshall Campbell and his wife Hazel have put a lot into the gardens generally and in particular, the rose beds. Their efforts have paid off!

With the increase of age and accompanying ill health, they’ve had to ease up for now. But Marshall’s hopeful that with a couple of operations to install some new parts, they’ll be back into it in the new year.

Best wishes, Marshall and Hazel.
