Ramps for Loading ATV (Quadbike)

Well, I’ve always been a bit worried about the ramps slipping during loading the ATV with just a small bit of timber screwed to the top underside to hold them in place.

Planks for loading ATV (quadbike)

Top end of the ATV loading planks. Will be safer and avoid the need to find a bank to load on in order to minimise the steepness.

So I did a rebuild; fairly common, huh!

Now I have a good, solid, non slip lip that won’t let me (or the quadbike) down, plus I’ve dropped the height where the plank used to sit on top of the edge of the ute tray, giving a three instep for the bike’s foot pegs to clear.

Ah! A great improvement. Loading the ATV will be easier and safer now.

What a great idea! Safety first I always say. Having your ATV fall on you while trying to unload/load in the Outback is not the proper way to start a holiday. :-)
