Spare ATV Wheel
With a spare ATV wheel mounted on the back of the trailer, I’ll be right should I puncture a tyre on the ATV or the trailer.
The six wheels on the ATV and camping gear trailer are interchangeable. The front, narrower rims with smaller tyres are the odd ones out, but the hole pattern is the same. I’ll take a second spare ATV wheel if I can get it on the load, somehow.
Should puncture problems mount up, I can abandon the trailer and put it’s wheels on the ATV. Any thing beats a walk of, maybe, 50km to civilization. The trailer can be recovered later.
On abandoning the trailer, one of the main considerations is to carry enough water and fuel in smaller containers, on the ATV.
