Story Writing – River Bend, Echuca
Two nights spent at River Bend Caravan Park, near Echuca and Moama in north east Victoria, practically on the border with New South Wales. Our camp is on the Goulburn River and the Murray River is only a kilometre or two away, over the flood plain forest of redgum and what I guess is grey box timber.

Set up with the laptop computer plugged straight into the power pole at out camp at River Bend Caravan Park, near Echuca in north east Victoria.
A photo story or two each evening from a driven photographer and writer. Well, it’s a bit awkward, I can tell you, with a little old laptop and limited space in our little caravan.
But what nicer environment could one ask for but the shade of the redgums, an old wire crate for a table and a folding canvas chair. The power plugged straight into the power box completed my make shift studio.
So here I sat as the darkness and cool overtook the brilliant sunlight and burning heat of the day, reliving the day’s events with Irfanview and Notepad as my software. Photo stories ready for publishing to Wilderness Travel.
Rather a pity I forgot to bring the PIN for my wireless modem, huh!
