Three Course Meal at Lake Richardson
Well, it may look a bit rough to you but you can be sure it went down well after an afternoon on the bike in some pretty rough country. Three courses and a couple of cups of black tea.

The gas ring is rather suseptable to the breeze so I made a shelter of rocks. There's no shortage of flat rocks.

Second course was a cob of corn, baked in the frying pan. The lid from the camp oven fits perfectly.

wow looks delicious
Thanks Ashbey! Wait till you see tonight’s dinner: peas, rice, corn, pumpkin, carrot and spud.
The peas and rice were dried but the rest was fresh. Meals will become a bit plainer when I leave the ute and go off on the bike. I’ll still have some fresh veggies while they hold out, but mostly tinned stuff. Mind you, I bake a pretty good loaf of bread in the camp oven, but need firewood for that. Not so sure how I’ll go at Sketching Pile.
