Thurra Dunes – Croajingolong National Park
I’ve revisited some photos from my recent trip to Thurra Dunes in the Croajingolong National Park in Gippsland, Victoria.
I’d call it rather heavy editing of the colours, some using Irfanview and others using the GIMPas my editing programmes.
More or less on top of Thurra Dunes, the lines and texture make a great site.
Dead Teatree, buried for years beneath the moving sand of Thurra Dunes, weathered and sandblasted.
Looking down from on top of a sand flow, the shadow creates a striking black form.
My images had left me rather disappointed and it was only just the other day that the reason came to me as I learned some new stuff in Irfanview.
