Wilderness Trip Approaching
Spring time wilderness trip comming up
All being well, the first day of spring, September 1, should see the start of another wilderness landcsape photography trip to the arid region of outback South Australia.

ATV trailer with boxes mounted for a try out.
Two new boxes are nearly finished. Just need some handles and a rope stopper so the lid doesn’t break the hinges off. Then a coat of paint and they’re done.
The total volume of the two camping boxes is approaching half that of a 6×4 car trailer. Plenty of storage room. Just need to keep the weight within the 250kg gross limit for the ATV trailer and be sure the weight is kept as low as possible in the boxes. Cast iron camp oven on the bottom, sleeping bag on top, that sort of thing.
The floor of the ATV trailer will carry three 20 litre jerry cans of fuel, a 25 litre plastic drum of water, one more 25 litre drum with the top cut out and two 15 litre, open topped plastic drums. The open topped drums will hold the tucker and all that sort of stuff.
